Speaker Proposal Submission Information

Presentation Guidelines

Please note the following for your speaker proposals:

  • Breakout session presentations will be 60–75 minutes, including 10 minutes for Q&A.
  • Plenary session presentations may be 75–90 minutes, including 10 minutes for Q&A.
  • In an effort to offer new voices and perspectives, preference will be given to speakers who did not present at previous conferences.
  • Deadline for Speaker Proposals: July 15, 2026

Session Information and Description

Please provide:

  • A session title that reflects the presentation topic.
  • A brief description or synopsis of your presentation (50–75 words or less).
  • Three educational objectives participants will achieve.
  • Proposed presentation length.
  • Indicate whether the presentation includes an ethics component.
  • Number of minutes devoted to ethics-related considerations.
  • Current résumé/CV detailing presentation experience.

Speaker Biography and Photo

Please provide:

  • A speaker biography in paragraph form (120 words or less) beginning with the speaker's name.
  • A high-resolution color headshot in JPG format.

Speaker Benefits

In gratitude to our speakers, MESC will provide complimentary conference registration and one (1) night hotel stay at the group rate.

  • If selected to speak, you will need to submit the following on or before January 15, 2027:
    PowerPoints, articles, and/or supporting materials (in PDF format) to include in Conference materials made available to registrants prior to the Conference.

The MESC Conference Speaker Committee will review submissions received by the deadline. Speakers will be notified after committee review and selection. Questions regarding speaker proposals should be submitted to the conference committee.
